As soon as Chen Xu opened the door, a vase came flying at him. He dodged, and it shattered on the floor, scattering fragments. Luckily, it was autumn, and he was wearing long pants, preventing cuts on his legs.
“I heard you wanted to see Si Ye?” Chen Xu switched on all the lights in the room.

Chen Xu raised an eyebrow. Si Lin blamed him?
“You believed Sun Pangfei’s lies, fell for the Sun family’s promises, and now you’re blaming me?” Chen Xu retorted.
“They didn’t lie to me! Grandma told me everything. Si Corporation should have been mine. Si Ye is the one who usurped it and won’t return what’s mine!” Si Lin insisted, still believing the Sun family was sincere and that Si Ye was trying to give him scraps while keeping the real wealth for himself.
His foolish words were laughable, and Chen Xu couldn’t help but smirk. “The Sun family didn’t lie to you? Look at every mess you’ve been in and who cleaned it up. Si Corporation was saved by Si Ye.
