BPTCMW : Chapter 24

Over the next few days, Xia Yang couldn’t stop thinking about the creative advertisement. It wasn’t that he had suddenly changed and become less of a slacker; he was simply concerned about his plastic husband’s money. Saving even a little bit would contribute to their shared assets. Just this one advertisement could save them 6 million!

See how capable the boss’s wife is!

Even so, he hadn’t mentioned it to Han Yi again. In a way, he wanted to achieve this on his own. Jin Yang had said he had no company and no agent, but this time, Xia Yang wanted to rely on himself, prove his worth, and then smack Jin Yang’s face with it.

Xia Yang firmly believed in the satisfaction that came from achieving something on your own, even when you could rely on your husband.

With this decision, he secretly asked Fang Ming to find out who was responsible for brand affairs at Han Yi’s company. Fang Ming, ever efficient, got the information within half a day.

“Xiang Tianran, Brand Director at Yunding Group. Here are his email and phone number. I’ve also sent you his WeChat.”

“Great, Brother Ming, you’re always so reliable!” Xia Yang grinned, showering him with compliments. “With you around, Han Yi must be shedding fewer hairs from stress!”

Fang Ming waved his hand. “I don’t deserve such praise. Mr. Han doesn’t lose hair… He has a naturally good scalp.”

Xia Yang: “You’re right, you’re right.”

Once Fang Ming left, Xia Yang returned to his room to organize his portfolio, but he encountered an important issue: he didn’t have enough “inventory.”

The original owner’s work wasn’t quite usable, and the best piece he had currently was the MAN fashion magazine cover.

A bit limited.

After some thought, he realized he needed to shoot something new.

Looking out the window, the sun was setting, and the nearby beach was bathed in a soft glow, almost like a filter had been applied.

An idea sparked in Xia Yang’s mind. He quickly changed clothes and ran downstairs, temporarily enlisting a housekeeper who knew photography to help him shoot some scenes.

The sunset over the sea and beach was more magnificent than ever. The pretty young man in white clothes merged with the scenery, creating a dynamic picture. The waves washed over his feet, kissed his calves, and the receding tide revealed clean sand and glowing wet pebbles. The gentle sunset was framed by his hands and captured on video.

This scene was fully taken in by Han Yi on the observation deck.

“What has he been busy with lately? Why is he suddenly shooting videos?” he asked Fang Ming, who was standing beside him. Fang Ming adjusted his glasses and replied, “Young Master Xia seems to have set his sights on a significant advertisement opportunity. I believe he’s preparing his portfolio.”

Han Yi tilted his head slightly. “Advertisement opportunity?”

“Yes, sir. It’s clear that Young Master Xia is quite invested.”

Han Yi gazed at the beach silently for a moment before looking away and instructing Fang Ming, “Call him back for dinner.”

Fang Ming obediently took out his phone and dialed Xia Yang’s number. After a pause, he respectfully handed it to Han Yi.

“Sir, you should call him yourself. Young Master Xia seems quite absorbed in what he’s doing. My words might not carry enough weight.”

Han Yi pressed his lips together, took the phone, and when the call connected, he got straight to the point. “Where are you? Come back for dinner.”

Xia Yang, recognizing the voice of his plastic husband, responded but didn’t move. He looked up to see several seagulls skimming the water, bathed in red light, merging with the setting sun.

“Mr. Han, today’s sunset is beautiful. Don’t you want to come out and enjoy it?”

Han Yi looked in the same direction. The splendid sunset poured its last rays over the sea and mountains. The horizon where the sea met the sky was lined with a golden, flowing light.

The young man on the beach sat with his arms propped up, gazing at the sky. Dressed in white, with black hair, his clothes fluttering in the breeze, his slender figure stretched out, as dazzling as the sunset.

Lost in thought, Han Yi’s voice came through the phone again. “People say the one who watches the sunset with you is more gentle than the sunset itself. Mr. Han, don’t you want to be a gentle man?”

Han Yi withdrew his gaze and replied sternly, “No.”

Then he hung up the phone and walked away from the window.

A dozen minutes later, Xia Yang returned to the villa. Dinner was still some time away, so he reviewed the footage he had just shot, appreciating it for a while.

He had to admit, someone who understood photography really made a difference. The shots looked like scenes from a movie, and he felt like the leading man.

With these two pieces of work, he felt more confident. He found Xiang Tianran’s email address and quickly wrote him a message.

The email included his resume and portfolio.

After sending the email, he added Xiang Tianran on WeChat, with the reason for adding being: **[Xia Yang, self-recommending as an advertisement actor, details in the email~]**

Once everything was done, it was time for dinner. Han Yi and Mrs. Tang were already waiting in the dining room.

Today’s table was even more lavish than usual, with all dishes covered with exquisite porcelain lids, filling the air with a rich aroma.

Mrs. Tang signaled for him to sit and made a gesture to a young man standing by the table.

Xia Yang turned and noticed a new face among the kitchen staff.

“Hello everyone, I’m the new nutritionist, Ah Mu. From now on, I’ll be responsible for the health and diet of both gentlemen…”

He was the nutritionist Mrs. Tang had hired at great expense, starting today. Ever since Han Yi mentioned having a cold constitution, maintaining his health had become a priority. Fang Ming, after several sleepless nights, had selected this highly qualified nutritionist after rigorous testing and interviews.

“Alright, I announce—” Mrs. Tang cleared her throat and clapped her hands solemnly, “The nutritional revolution officially begins tonight!”

Xia Yang: “?”

Han Yi: “?”

“I’m getting old and can’t handle such nourishment anymore, so I’ll head back to my room to eat my salad. You two young ones take your time.”

After saying that, Mrs. Tang left the table. The nutritionist stepped forward and rolled up his sleeves.

Xia Yang’s eyes followed his hands as he lifted the lids off the porcelain dishes, introducing each one—

“This dish is scallion stir-fried lamb. Lamb can warm the body and dispel internal cold.”

“This one, oyster in sauce. Oysters are known as a man’s gas station, rich in zinc, and nourish kidney essence.”

“This one, steamed egg with sea cucumber, contains arginine, zinc, and sea cucumber essence, which help enhance vitality and slow the aging of sex glands.”

“And this one, stir-fried clams with chives, strengthens the kidneys, promotes digestion, has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, prevents premature ejaculation, and boosts sperm activity.”

Han Yi: “…………”

Xia Yang: “…………”

Wow! This isn’t just about addressing “cold constitution”; it’s about igniting their “firepower.”

His fire was already burning brightly, but the big ice block could indeed use some heating up.

With this thought, he turned to Han Yi and nudged his arm, winking at him. “You have a cold constitution. You go first.”

Han Yi glanced at him. “You first.”

“No, no. Respecting the elderly and caring for the young is a traditional virtue. The good stuff should naturally go to the older one first.”

“…No, the younger one should go first.”

Mrs. Tang, hearing their conversation from her room, felt both gratified and helpless.

Her grandson and grandson-in-law were indeed loving, each pushing the nourishing dishes to the other, caring for each other.

Commendable, but unnecessary.

It’s not like their family couldn’t afford it.

With this thought, she returned to the dining room and waved her arm generously. “No need to be so polite. All the nourishing dishes are already arranged. From now on, the cook will prepare these daily, with 100 different dishes!”

100… different dishes…

Xia Yang and Han Yi’s expressions froze simultaneously.
