The wedding date was set, and the photoshoot for the wedding photos was also scheduled. The outdoor shoot was planned on the private island that Han Yi had purchased, with the main scenes chosen as the church, the countryside, and the golden beach at sunset. The indoor shoot, on the other hand, would focus more on portraits and take place in their villa. Photos taken in places filled with life would feel more authentic.
On the day of the indoor shoot, at 2 PM, a photography team of eight people was led into the villa by Fang Ming. Disposable slippers had already been prepared, and after changing into them and sanitizing their hands with wet wipes, they were finally allowed inside.
“Wow, this house is huge,” one of the photography assistants exclaimed, looking around in awe. “It’s more than enough for a hundred different scenes.”
“There’s also an outdoor garden and a swimming pool. On the way here, I even saw a beach. We could totally shoot outdoors here. Why bother going abroad?”
“Rich people…”
After a short wait, Han Yi and Xia Yang descended the stairs. The lead photographer quickly handed them a proposal detailing different scenes and styles for the shoot.
“Hello, if you want a more academic vibe, we can shoot in the study. For something warm and sweet, the living room or kitchen would work. If you’re looking for something with more… tension, something intimate, we can do the bedroom or bathroom. It’s entirely up to you.”
Xia Yang turned to Han Yi. “Which one do you want to do?”
“Any is fine,” Han Yi replied. “It’s up to you.”
“Can you handle the tension?” Xia Yang blinked, lowering his voice, suddenly feeling the urge to tease his husband. “You know, the kind where we’re not wearing clothes, just bare and honest couple portraits.”
Han Yi, as expected, frowned.
“And we might have to pose in certain ways,” Xia Yang continued, keeping a straight face. “There might be some level of nudity. Can you handle that?”
Han Yi was silent for a moment before pursing his lips. “It’s not about whether I can handle it. It’s just unnecessary.”
“?” Xia Yang raised an eyebrow. “What do you mean? Why is it unnecessary?”
Han Yi: “If you want photos like that, I can take them for you. There’s no need to outsource it to others.”
“If you want couple photos, our Google robot at home can do it too.”
“……………………………” Xia Yang felt he couldn’t tease Han Yi any further. Otherwise, the entire photography team might end up unemployed.
He quickly clarified his earlier remarks and re-explained the accurate definition of “tension.”
After his explanation, Han Yi looked at him calmly. “So, you still want to shoot something like that?”
“Mm-hmm,” Xia Yang lowered his eyes, shyly biting his lip. “Mainly, I want to see you exuding charisma.”
His man had such beautiful muscle lines—it would be a waste not to capture them. He also wanted to see what kind of tension they could create together in front of the camera.
The indoor shoot was ultimately decided to feature two styles: warm and sweet, and tension-filled. The former would be shot primarily in the living room. The photography assistant brought over the studio’s internet-famous toy poodle as a prop.
The poodle, named Tuan Tuan, was dressed in a white tulle dress, with little shoes on each paw and a strawberry hair clip on its ear. It looked like a little princess.
“Don’t worry, Tuan Tuan is trained. It won’t relieve itself anywhere or hurt anyone.”
Xia Yang had always loved small pets and had noticed the adorable poodle in previous sample photos. He had specifically asked the photography team to bring it along.
Han Yi wore a light gray knit casual outfit, while Xia Yang wore a soft yellow one. The makeup artist kept their looks natural, only styling their hair.
“Heavy makeup would look unnatural. This is just perfect. Besides, your faces are already flawless. You don’t need any cosmetics.”
“I’ll just put on some lip balm,” Xia Yang said, feeling his lips were a bit dry. He went back to the makeup room and applied a nude lip balm.
His pale pink lips instantly looked moist and glossy, like a summer peach filled with water.
Han Yi walked in at that moment, his gaze lingering on the translucent pink for a moment before saying in a low voice, “I want to use lip balm too.”
“Here, take it,” Xia Yang handed him the lip balm. But Han Yi didn’t take it. Instead, he just looked at him, his dark eyes conveying something.
Xia Yang met his gaze and quickly understood what he meant. His cheeks flushed, and his eyelashes fluttered. After a moment, he wrapped his arms around Han Yi’s neck and kissed him.
Their lips gently brushed and rubbed against each other, spreading the lip balm evenly between them. The makeup room was quiet, with only the sound of their breathing.
Once they were done “applying” the lip balm, they slowly walked out of the room. The makeup artist looked at Xia Yang’s face and widened her eyes. “Wow! That color adds a whole new level of charm and allure. It looks amazing!”
The two of them: “…”
The shoot began. The photographer advised that for this style, they shouldn’t pose too much. Occasionally, they would be asked to “look at the camera” for a few shots, but most of the time, they should just interact and chat as usual, ignoring the camera. The team would capture candid moments.
“Natural, candid shots will make the photos feel like a movie, full of life.”
They took a few sets by the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, then moved to the sofa.
As soon as Xia Yang sat down, the internet-famous poodle jumped onto his lap, licking his palm and pawing at his arm with its front paws, wagging its tail.
This was the dog’s way of showing affection—asking to be held.
Xia Yang picked it up, and the poodle snuggled into his arms, nuzzling and licking his jawline.
Han Yi, witnessing this: “…”
This was a little perverted dog.
“Mr. Han, you can join them too,” the photographer said while snapping photos, guiding them.
The dog was just a prop; the focus was still on the couple.
Xia Yang, while petting the dog, called out to him, “Come on, join the fun~ Doesn’t this look like our little family of three?”
Han Yi: “…”
He sat down next to Xia Yang, but just then, the poodle suddenly turned its head and barked at him a few times. The next second, it turned its back to him and let out a not-so-pleasant sound.
Xia Yang: “…”
Everyone else: “…”
“Oops, sorry, Mr. Han,” the photographer gave the assistant a look, signaling her to quickly take the dog away.
Big shots usually had short tempers, and their little poodle had just audaciously farted in front of one. It was probably going to get scolded.
The poodle seemed unhappy about being taken away from Xia Yang’s arms, kicking and scratching with its paws until its little shoes fell off.
“Really sorry, Mr. Han. Please don’t take it to heart,” the assistant apologized repeatedly. “Our Tuan Tuan is very possessive. If it likes someone, it doesn’t want anyone else to get close.”
“Let’s not ask why,” the assistant said awkwardly, quickly carrying the poodle away.
“What kind of habit is this?” Han Yi pursed his lips.
Xia Yang covered his mouth, trying not to laugh. Han Yi glanced at him, his expression darkening. The photographer quickly stepped in, showing them the candid shots to diffuse the tension.
Despite the less-than-pleasant interaction with the “family of three,” the candid photos turned out warm and playful.
In the photo, Xia Yang was holding the dog, his eyes filled with adoration. Half a meter away, Han Yi sat, his deep eyes fixed on his husband, a mix of helplessness and innocence in his gaze.
“Wow, this shot is so lively!” Xia Yang pointed at the photo, praising it. He handed the camera to Han Yi for him to see. “What do you think? Doesn’t it feel so full of life, so cute~”
Han Yi glanced at it. “It’s okay.”
Xia Yang didn’t catch the underlying tone in his words. He tugged at Han Yi’s wrist and suggested, “How about we get a poodle too? A happy little family of three.”
“No,” Han Yi shook his head. “I don’t like other beings getting too close to you.”
After finishing a few sets of warm and sweet photos in the living room, it was time to shoot the tension-filled ones.
Xia Yang: “…”
Xia Yang: “?”
Wait, are you seriously jealous of a dog?!!!
The photography team suggested shooting in the bathtub, swimming pool, or bedroom. After some consideration, Xia Yang chose the bedroom.
However, he didn’t offer their usual master bedroom. Instead, he chose a guest room.
The master bedroom had too many “secrets” that couldn’t be revealed. Just this morning, they had engaged in some morning exercise, and he wasn’t sure if they had even put away all the little toys.
The guest room was the one he had stayed in for several months. It held a lot of memories.
The room was tidy and spacious, with a large European-style bed and a soft, luxurious cream-colored carpet.
“Mr. Han, Mr. Xia, for this set, we need one of you to sit on the carpet while the other rests their head on your lap. Is that okay?”
Xia Yang turned to Han Yi again. “Do you want to sit or lie down?”
“What about you?” Han Yi still left the decision to him. “Whatever you prefer. I’m fine with either.”
“Then I’ll choose to lie down,” Xia Yang said.
The lights, equipment, and everything else were set up. Both of them were dressed in black trousers, black belts, and white shirts. The more restrained and formal the attire, the more it would highlight the tension.
Han Yi sat down on the soft cream-colored carpet, leaning against the bed. The bed was slightly messy, with two ties crumpled on it, a half-open magazine, and a small rabbit plushie lying on the pillow. A vase of delicate lavender daisies sat on the nightstand.
“Mr. Han, take one of the ties from the bed and drape it around your neck. Don’t tie it,” the photographer instructed, adjusting their poses. “Mr. Xia, prop your head up with your left arm, resting your body on Mr. Han’s lap. But keep your head up—we can’t have such a handsome face facing the ceiling, right?”
“Okay,” Xia Yang responded, following the instructions.
“Yes, that’s the vibe. Now, unbutton two more buttons on your shirt,” the photographer gestured to the position. “About here, the fourth button. Then pull the collar open a bit wider.”
Xia Yang complied, reaching to unbutton his shirt. But as soon as he undid the third button, Han Yi grabbed his wrist.
“That’s enough,” Han Yi said.
Xia Yang was confused. “Why?”
Was his skin not fair enough? Or was his figure not good enough? Why could he only undo three buttons? Was it that unsightly?
“Because any lower would be inappropriate,” Han Yi whispered, so only Xia Yang could hear.
Xia Yang was still puzzled. “How would it be inappropriate?”
“………………Hickeys,” Han Yi clarified. “This morning, you told me not to leave marks above your chest because we were taking photos today. So, I had to focus below the chest…”
“Okay, okay, stop talking,” Xia Yang’s ears turned red, quickly cutting off the conversation.
The photographer captured this moment, snapping several shots.
“Perfect! The domineering CEO and his delicate wife,” the photographer said, flipping through the photos and giving a thumbs up. “I think the whispered sweet nothings and the shyness between lovers are even more beautiful than the tension.”
Xia Yang: “…”
Han Yi: “Makes sense.”
After the little interlude, the two followed the photographer’s instructions to pose. Han Yi stretched one leg out and bent the other, resting one hand lazily on his knee while the other held Xia Yang’s hand, their fingers intertwined.
The tie around his neck hung naturally, draping over Xia Yang’s open shirt and covering the exposed skin.
“Perfect! Mr. Xia, you can change your pose now. Sit in Mr. Han’s lap or lie down.”
“Uh… I’ll sit,” Xia Yang said.
Lying down would lead to too many inappropriate thoughts.
“Great, hold that pose! You can wrap your arm around Mr. Han’s neck and pretend to undo his shirt buttons. Yes, perfect!”
After two sets of photos, there was one last set to shoot.
The photographer: “Let’s do one more set on the bed.”
Both of them agreed: “Sure!”
The assistants adjusted the room’s lighting to a soft, warm orange, complementing the light gray sheer curtains. A white pillow was placed next to Xia Yang, while another was tossed casually at the foot of the bed, creating a cozy atmosphere.
“Mr. Han, you can take off your shirt and just wear the tank top underneath. Mr. Xia, you can roll up your pants to show your ankles.” Xia Yang quickly rolled up his pants, watching as Han Yi took off his shirt. When his well-defined muscles were revealed, the assistants’ eyes widened.
“Wow, this physique is on par with international supermodels!”
“The muscles are firm but not exaggerated. So perfect.”
“I really want to poke them…”
Xia Yang felt proud hearing this, but seeing the assistants’ eyes glued to his husband, he couldn’t help but frown.
He shifted slightly, trying to block Han Yi’s overwhelming charisma with his own body.
And, in the process, blocking the view of the onlookers.
“Can we start shooting? We’re lying down now,” he urged the photographer.
“Of course, I’m coming!” The photographer switched to a longer lens and hurried to the bedside, ready to shoot.
For this set, neither of them needed to do anything complicated. They just had to lie facing each other, gazing into each other’s eyes.
“Say something to each other, make your expressions more lively,” the photographer suggested after taking a few shots.
Xia Yang gave him a thumbs-up and turned back to Han Yi.
“I need to set some ground rules,” he said softly, biting his lip.
Han Yi: “Go ahead.”
“When I’m not around, you’re not allowed to show off your muscles.”
“Of course, in the summer, you can wear short sleeves and show your arms. But your chest, abs, and any other muscles must stay covered. No flirting!”
Though spoken softly, the words carried a firm tone. Han Yi’s lips curved slightly, and he raised an eyebrow. “Okay, I’ll listen to you.”
“Mm-hmm, if I catch you…”
Xia Yang let out a short laugh, suddenly feeling mischievous. He pulled the blanket up slightly and lifted his leg, letting his knee brush gently against a certain part of Han Yi.
Han Yi: “…”
This was blatant provocation. Unbelievable.
Xia Yang tried hard not to laugh. After teasing his husband, he blinked innocently, pretending to be a harmless little bunny.
“Are you okay, honey~”
Han Yi pursed his lips, his eyes darkening. After a moment, he managed to say, “What do you think?”
“I think…” Xia Yang grinned. “I think a real man should stay calm in any situation.”
Han Yi: “…”
Han Yi: “…”
Three hours later, the indoor shoot was complete. Xia Yang and Han Yi walked the photography team to the villa’s entrance.
“Thank you, everyone. You’ve worked hard!”
“Don’t mention it. I’ll contact you as soon as the photos are ready. Congratulations on your wedding!” The lead photographer waved goodbye and got into the car.
Back inside the villa, Xia Yang poked Han Yi’s arm and asked, “Which set did you like the most?”
Han Yi: “The last one.”
“Why?”
“Because it was the last one. After that, I could finally settle the score with someone.”
“Huh? What do you mean—” Before Xia Yang could finish, he felt himself being lifted off his feet, his vision tilting.
Startled, he instinctively grabbed Han Yi’s neck. By the time he realized what was happening, he was already slung over Han Yi’s shoulder.
“What are you doing?!” He shouted, kicking his legs as he hung upside down.
“I already told you, settling the score,” Han Yi said calmly, carrying him up the stairs with steady steps.
Xia Yang flailed, still struggling. “What score? Hey, it’s broad daylight! I’ll call for help!”
“Go ahead,” Han Yi continued walking, unfazed. “A real man should stay calm in any situation.”
Xia Yang: “…”
With a loud thud, the bedroom door closed. Soon, Xia Yang’s trembling voice could be heard from inside, pleading and begging. “Brother~ Hubby… Hey, let’s talk this out! Why are you tying me up?!”
Keep me fueled with caffeine! Support me on Ko-fi! It helps a lot ! Thank you so much ♡(´・ω・)(・ω・`)♡
