He Yue kept a record of all the emotional confession calls he received in his little book. Each call equaled a kiss. Forty-nine in total, he cursed him every time.
It’s not like he holds grudges for just one kiss, but He Yue insisted on turning it into a vendetta as deep as the ocean. Kissing him against the pillar in the library, kissing him in the corner of the classroom!
It was quite simple to communicate with Shen Yi in college. He Yue quickly appeared at the library entrance where Shen Yi often went.
With his hands in his pockets, He Yue stared at his shiny leather boots. It was freezing outside, with ice forming below zero. As for why he didn’t go in… He Yue stomped his foot. He was just leaving a little face for that little guy. Kissing him forcefully in the library was indeed disgraceful.
It was eight or nine at night, and the breaths turned white. Groups of blond-haired, blue-eyed men and women came out of the library, but Shen Yi was nowhere to be seen.
“This little guy is driving me crazy.”
He Yue thought, if he didn’t come out soon, he would have to demand his debt repayment right under the bright lights of the library.
But by the time it was ten o’clock at night, the whole library suddenly went dark, almost empty. It was only then that He Yue saw Shen Yi slowly coming out with the light of his phone, cautiously stepping on the icy steps.
It was him!
He Yue’s eyes lit up. He held his breath, watching Shen Yi come down the steps safely, and only then did his heart relax.
Wait, why was he worrying about this little liar? He should be the one to pay for his actions!
He Yue followed Shen Yi from the library to the small woods, then to a quiet alley. It was dark with the moon high, the perfect time for mischief. He Yue put his hands in his pockets, ready to surprise him from behind and rob him.
“Ah!” Shen Yi screamed in pain, curling up on the ground, clutching his leg.
He Yue clenched his fists. What’s going on? He hadn’t even made a move and Shen Yi was already down? Was he faking it?
This little trickster was too cunning. He Yue quickly took a step back.
“Ah… it hurts!”
Shen Yi trembled as he took out his phone from his pocket to call an ambulance. It was late at night, and this alley was deserted. He feared that he might not make it until the ambulance arrived. Shen Yi tried to move his leg, hoping to walk out of the alley and hail a cab.
“Don’t move.”
He Yue pressed down on Shen Yi’s hand, covering him with his coat. He carefully lifted him up. His leather boots had excellent grip and traction, walking steadily with every step, completely different from a certain chicken who broke his leg.
Shen Yi said thank you, and when he looked up, he saw He Yue’s sharp jawline.
The man seemed to be Asian, which felt a bit coincidental. He thanked him again.
He Yue sneered.
The more polite he looked, the more deceitful he was. When he first substituted for him, he called everyone “Daddy Rich” and tricked him into chatting for a tip every time. In the end, he caught him off guard.
Shen Yi didn’t know what this well-meaning person was laughing at until he was put into a spacious car, and he almost jumped out with one leg when he saw He Yue’s true appearance.
“You… you…”
Shen Yi’s face turned pale, and his heart sank. He fell into He Yue’s hands. Despite being able to hop on one leg now, he might end up in a wheelchair after tonight.
He Yue looked at his pale face with particular delight. The pent-up frustration dissipated, and he blocked the car door without good intentions. His tall figure blocked the light from the street lamps, one hand supporting the car seat, the other pinching Shen Yi’s chin.
“Do you recognize me?”
“Apologize nicely, and I’ll consider letting you off the hook.” He Yue put on that unscrupulous look. “Otherwise, if you don’t get your leg treated in time, you might end up with a little limp tomorrow.”
Shen Yi pouted. “If you hadn’t been kissing people on the street…”
He Yue’s teeth tingled. What’s wrong with this little liar? Why was he pouting instead of apologizing? What’s the use of pretending to be pitiful?
Did he think that by acting this way, he would let him off the hook? He Yue would see how he kisses once his leg is healed!
He Yue quickly walked to the driver’s seat and skillfully and quickly took Shen Yi to the hospital. Unfortunately, the hospital was overcrowded today due to heavy snow, icy roads, and a series of accidents. Plus, Shen Yi was just an inconspicuous foreign student, so there was only one bed left in the corridor.
Being unfamiliar with the place, He Yue’s money was of no use. He could only go and pay the bill angrily.
Shen Yi looked at He Yue’s nameless anger and felt puzzled. “What are you angry about?”
“Of course, I’m angry at you. Did you think I wouldn’t come after you just because you injured your leg?”
Shen Yi didn’t think it was quite like that, but his ankle was swollen like a big pig’s trotter, making it hard for him to think. Plus, his butt was a bit sore.
Shen Yi kept his back straight, not telling anyone that he had fallen on his butt.
He Yue saw this stubborn little look and really wanted to kiss him to see if he would explode.
The urge was strong, but fear that Shen Yi might struggle and hurt his leg held him back. He could only feel regret in his heart.
When Shen Yi was finally seen in the emergency room, it was almost midnight. He Yue waited outside with his hands clasped, not realizing that he had spent the whole day waiting for Shen Yi, acting like a lovesick fool.
Shen Yi’s butt hurt, and he wanted to lie down, but his foot was fixed at the end of the bed by He Yue. He said it was to prevent him from moving around, but it was actually to see him struggle. Shen Yi felt embarrassed to mention it, so the two of them stared at each other.
“After you went abroad, I received a total of sixty-three calls,” He Yue emphasized, “and I only kissed you once.”
He Yue sneakily counted ten harassing phone calls from those who confessed to him.
Shen Yi said, “There’s no comparison.”
“I say there is,” He Yue grumbled. “I have to kiss you back, and it’s a fair exchange. One for one.”
Shen Yi covered his mouth. “No way.”
He Yue must have a problem, right? What benefit could there be in kissing him?
In a foreign land, Shen Yi’s objections were futile. As soon as He Yue could leave the hospital, he practically kidnapped Shen Yi and brought him home like a bandit.
Coming out of the hospital with a bang, it seemed as if they owed the hospital money.
He specially borrowed a villa close to Shen Yi’s school from his brother and provided Shen Yi with a wheelchair and crutches, “plus two more kisses.”
Shen Yi returned the wheelchair and haggled, “Just one.”
He Yue couldn’t understand this person. He tirelessly took care of him in the hospital for three days, with each task completed earning him a kiss. Sometimes he even raised the price if Shen Yi didn’t sign the bill.
So far, he owed him two hundred and thirty-six kisses.
His lips were swollen from all the kissing.
But, despite He Yue keeping such meticulous records, there was no visible action. Shen Yi was a bit confused. Was He Yue planning to make him repay everything all at once? It was practically torture.
Shen Yi secretly ordered three lip balms online.
As a standard second-generation rich kid, He Yue was lazy, but recently he had become obsessed with taking care of people. It was as if Shen Yi was a mushroom that spewed out gold coins, and every time he poked him, he would receive a kiss. He Yue enthusiastically behaved like an addicted teenager.
Shen Yi always felt that when he reached a certain number, some bizarre level would be triggered, so he blocked He Yue from giving him a bath.
“I can do it myself,” Shen Yi leaned on his crutches, blocking the narrow doorway of the bathroom.
He Yue grabbed him by the armpits and lifted him up, not bothering to check if Shen Yi hit his head.
“Ow…” Shen Yi held his head, his almond eyes watery. “You hit my head, deduct ten kisses.”
“You…” He Yue sneered. “Fine.”
In games, your score doesn’t decrease the more you play.
Determined to make up for it, He Yue gave Shen Yi a bath.
Placing Shen Yi on the edge of the bathtub, He Yue cradled him in his arms, massaging his head with one hand while running the water with the other. He threatened, “Little lame boy, we’ll settle the score once your leg is better.”
This threat was repeated eighteen times a day.
Shen Yi, a bit scared, whispered, “Can we settle a bit now?”
He Yue stiffened but then nodded, seeing Shen Yi’s dark, thick eyelashes, and remembering the unexpected kiss on the street a long time ago. His heart raced uncontrollably.
In the midst of speaking, he also unbuttoned Shen Yi’s shirt. Originally intending to bathe him, He Yue accidentally glanced at him, and was dazzled by his milky-white neck. He immediately turned off the faucet, threw down Shen Yi, and stormed out of the bathroom.
He Yue stood on the balcony, lit a cigarette, then extinguished it, adding another note to Shen Yi’s account.
This little lame boy had kept him frustrated for two months, unable to release his pent-up energy. Suddenly recovering today, he almost raised a flag in front of Shen Yi.
He Yue pictured Shen Yi’s wet, fearful eyes in his mind, feeling more and more convinced that this trip was worth it.
Bullying this little lame boy, he wouldn’t hold back anymore. His body was even stronger!
Sure enough, he had to kiss even harder!
…
Shen Yi pursed his lips.
He tested He Yue at great risk, and the result was as expected.
This confirmed that He Yue was a straight guy who didn’t dare to kiss him.
Perhaps he had misunderstood He Yue before. In fact, he was an outstanding young man with a broad mind, adhering to the spirit of mutual assistance among overseas Chinese!
